Passed a nice milestone this week with the Flag Turbine. We investigate the effectiveness of a vertical wind turbine with variable pitch. That mechanism allows the wings to be larger, which also allows it to start up earlier and independently.
Nice touch; the wings can be used as promotional flags, hence "Flag Turbine." At 20 rpm already 25V voltage 💪.
This research is being conducted with a grant from the Zeeland in Stroomversnelling fund, and in cooperation with Hogeschool Zeeland, Melkveehouderij van der Slikke dairy farm and Energie Cooperatie TholenSolar.
